Product Name: Trilobatin
CAS NO.: 4192-90-9
Molecular Formula: C21H24O10
Molecular Weight: 436.4
Solubility: 0.7 g/L at 25°C
1. The sweetness of trilobatin is 300 times that of sucrose. It is a natural sweetener with high sweetness and no calories.
The sweetness is refreshing and pure, with a faint tea flavor and sweet aftertaste. It can be used as food enhancer.
2. After compounding with erythritol, isomalt, maltitol and other polysaccharide alcohols, the sweetness, taste and flavor characteristics can be similar to that of sucrose.
3. Non hygroscopic, non deliquescent, good stability, easily soluble in hot water and ethanol, solubility in water at room temperature 25°C is 0.7g/L.
4. Lowering blood sugar: Trilobatin has been shown to inhibit the activity and antioxidant properties of key enzymes in diabetes (α-glucosidase and α-amylase),
inhibit insulin resistance, and improve complications mediated by hyperglycemia.
Liver protection and anti-inflammation: Trilobatin can significantly inhibit the secretion of TNF-α and IL-6 in the serum of LPS-induced samples,
reduce the expression levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in liver tissue, and has a significant anti-inflammatory effect.
Anti-cancer: Trilobatin has a significant inhibitory effect on gefitinib-resistant lung cancer cells, mainly by inhibiting the NF-kB signaling pathway,
thereby inducing apoptosis of lung cancer cells.
